Thanks to funding through USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture – the BattleGround to Breaking Ground Program (BGBG) was developed to increase the number of Active-Duty, Veterans, and other farmers and ranchers & to enhance their sustainability. Click on the various images below to learn more about the different program tracks that have been developed for the BattleGround to Breaking Ground project.
Your gift helps power BattleGround to Breaking Ground, a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension program that equips beginning farmers and ranchers, including active-duty and veteran families, with business planning education, hands-on training, mentoring, and production resources. Donations help us expand practical training, strengthen support networks, and reduce barriers to entering and staying in production agriculture, especially for those navigating disabilities or transition challenges.

- Fill out information.
- In Choose a designation(s):
- To give directly to our program, select Search for a designation (search bar) and Type BattleGround to Breaking Ground and hit Enter.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Battleground to Breaking Ground (500-74145)
- BattleGround to Breaking Ground Excellence Fund (500-74257)
- No Veteran Left Behind Excellence Endowment (400-58644)
- Complete the rest of the form and submit your gift.
