DeSoto

We hosted a workshop in DeSoto, Texas on November 7, 2015.  The workshop was hosted at the F.A.R.M. (Farmers Assisting Returning Military) farm.  This farm is a fully functional and operational farm in DeSoto, that is run by veterans.  F.A.R.M. was established to assist veterans at risk for homelessness, suicide, PTSD, depression, and addiction.  They offer therapeutic rehabilitation for the veterans through Agriculture Therapy, Recreation Therapy, and Professional Medical Treatment.

They also run an urban farming business in Dallas called Eat the Yard.  You click HERE or on the logo below to check out their website.
