As land and feed prices rise, it is more important than ever for beef cattle producers to strive to raise beef in a sustainable way. Come to the ranch to learn about beef cattle nutrition, herd health management, vaccinations, low-stress cattle handling & more from experienced grass-fed beef cattle producers. You will take part in handling cattle, vaccinations, record keeping, & more.
We will be on a working ranch so boots and long pants are required. Long sleeve shirt, hats, sunscreen, bug spray, & folding/camping type chairs are suggested. Growin on Faith Farm will provide workshop materials, light breakfast with coffee, snacks, lunch sandwiches both days, water, & Gatorade. Bring other drinks if you like.

Farming and ranching ranks among the most stressful occupations, with suicide rates nearly twice as high as the national average. The AgriStress Helpline is a new resource for farmers and ranchers in mental health crisis. Join us to learn more about the helpline and how it supports farmers and ranchers.
