Join us for an introductory agriculture business workshop in Belton, Texas. This workshop is a one-day workshop designed for military veterans, beginning farmers and ranchers, individuals with disabilities, and anyone interested in starting an agriculture business.

Join us for a Fall Cover Cropping 101 workshop in Gatesville (Coryell County), Texas. This workshop is a two-day workshop designed to provide information about fall cover crops and is open to all producers.
Workshop sessions will include:
- Soil Testing
- Basics of Cover Crops
- Grasses, Legumes, Brassicas, and Broadleafs
- Seed Selection
- Tractor and Implement Safety
Hands On Skills will include:
- Soil Testing
- Seed Selection Exercise
- No Till Drill Seeding
- Broadcast Seeding
Workshop cost is $50 which includes breakfast, lunch, and drinks for both days.
Please make sure to wear something comfortable (with long pants and closed toe shoes) as we will be outdoors on a working farm. Recommended to bring bug spray, sunscreen, hat, gloves, and sunglasses (eye protection).

About the Event
As land and feed prices rise, it is more important than ever for beef cattle producers to strive to raise beef in a sustainable way. Come to the ranch to learn about beef cattle nutrition, herd health management, vaccinations, low-stress cattle handling & more from experienced grass-fed beef cattle producers. You will take part in handling cattle, vaccinations, record keeping, & more.
We will be on a working ranch so boots and long pants are required. Long sleeve shirt, hats, sunscreen, bug spray, & folding/camping type chairs are suggested. Growin on Faith Farm will provide workshop materials, light breakfast with coffee, snacks, lunch sandwiches both days, water, & Gatorade. Bring other drinks if you like.
